Happy New Year!

I had the pleasure of designing the theme, color pallet and furnish this entire, newly built home. The homeowner was a dream to work with and is very happy with the look and feel of his new home. He wanted a Rustic, Modern Farmhouse with a touch of Industrial flair. I think we hit the mark.

We are so honored to have been featured on Antique Farmhouse’s. Instagram page this morning! We love their website and have made many purchases from them.
I love the onset of fall. It’s my favorite season…. sweater weather, boots, bon-fires, leaves changing, pumpkin spice everything, rich warm toned colors…. what’s not to love? I’ve started decorating my home and front porch for fall. I’m leaning toward the “less is more” simplicity this year. I feel like it gives touches of seasonal vibes while maintaining some elegance.
May your journey always lead you home. I loved these words so much I had to take this wooden sign home with me. These words are very fitting today…. my husband leaves for Korea this afternoon, where he will reside for the next year. This will be a tough day for the kids and I as we say goodbye to him. We will pray for his safe journey, over the next 12 months, and his safe return next August. Military families are very proud of their loved ones and are very strong….even on days like today.
This one won’t last long! Offered by Chilton Homes, KW.
I’ve been working on finishing our master bedroom. For some reason this is the space that I neglect the most. The rest of the house seems to be a priority and our bedroom comes last. I don’t know why. Lol. I’ve painted the sleigh bed and an accent wall, ordered the custom sign from #qbhome and redesigned the night stands. It’s a work in progress. 🙂 Slowly but surely….
Staged a lovely home for KW this weekend. Marketing tip: make your own wine labels with your business logo and use when staging homes! If you look closely you’ll see ours!
Pillows on my kitchen bench adds a little festive flair. 🙂 I found this pillow cover at Hobby Lobby and painted the truck onto it. It was a little tricky with the burlap texture but I’m happy with the end result.
