This bunkhouse was so much fun to dream up! The homeowner wanted a gender neutral space for kids that complimented the “outdoorsy” aesthetic of the rest of the home. We painted a faux deer head and added bluebirds for a fairytale vibe that coordinated with the black and white artwork hanging beneath it. We also made the large canvas art ourselves- using a shower curtain. Yes- a shower curtain! We painted over the trees and deer to add depth and texture. We wanted to create a fun place for kids to come visit, explore and relax on vacation.

Happy New Year!

Girl’s Room Design with a Nod to a love for Snowboarding
We had the distinct pleasure of working with a young military family, on Ft Carson, to design their 4 year old’s pink and purple room with a nod to her love of snowboarding. This family was the winner of the @cospringsmoms 5K Giveaway. Stay tuned for photos of a custom rock wall, for the opposite side of this bedroom, that we are working on right now. Because the family lives on base the rock wall will be detachable so they can take it with them when they move.

Boy’s Space Themed Bedroom Makeover
We are almost through with this makeover. We plan to make 3D planets to replace the wall stickers on the accent wall behind the bed. This 9 year old boy is so excited about his new space!!
