Isn’t this quote the truth?! I feel that my previous background in social work really helps me tune in to people’s emotional needs and translate that into a design that brings comfort to their surroundings and feeds their soul. Understanding how color, texture, lighting and space makes you FEEL is so important. Do you agree? I love how walking into a well designed room makes me FEEL. It’s all about the “feels” for me.

May Your Journey Always Lead You Home
May your journey always lead you home. I loved these words so much I had to take this wooden sign home with me. These words are very fitting today…. my husband leaves for Korea this afternoon, where he will reside for the next year. This will be a tough day for the kids and I as we say goodbye to him. We will pray for his safe journey, over the next 12 months, and his safe return next August. Military families are very proud of their loved ones and are very strong….even on days like today.
